About Us

We are a small family owned winery located in the foothills of the

Sierra Nevada in a area known as Apple Hill or Camino, California

between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe on Hwy 50.

We think it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. One of the

first places in California where gold was first discovered, The

mother lode of gold now comes out in the ultra premium wines we

create.

Our vineyards are hand picked and chosen for the best sun

coverage, fantastic mineralogy that comes from the decomposed

granite and the altitude so many of our vineyards are planted in.

We take great pride in our wines and it shines through like sun rays

warming the soul. We use both French and American Oak Barrels

to age our wines to perfection.

Our wines are only made in very small lots that are tended to very

meticulously, only the best ripest fruit makes it into our bottles.

These wines are treasured by the few who have had the opportunity

to taste and share them with great friends and great food.
